The California Independent System Operator (CAISO) was in need of communication materials to support the Market Redesign & Technology Upgrade (MRTU) project initiative.

The Brief

A solution was needed that would convey a large amount of information, engage viewers from both internal & external audiences and deliver a 35 minute presentation in a format suitable for both the web and CD.

The Delivery

the plan was to forego the standard stock photography based "words and pictures" presentation and created custom artwork and vector illustrations allowing us to more closely illustrate the concepts and information in the presentation.

The advantage to this was two-fold: 1) we were able to save the client time and cost by reducing the need to search and purchase stock photography; 2) we were able to drastically reduce the file size for the web deliverable without straying far from the quality of the original CD presentation.
